The Bookbinder Studs
A woman I didn’t know reached out to me recently to offer her help; a fellow maker, a bookbinder. These studs are inspired by her generosity. These gorgeous covallite stones remind me of those amazing end-papers in handmade books. Covellite is rare and prized among mineral collectors, but very rarely found in jewelry. I backed these with my signature stripes to give them a little something extra when peeking out from under your earlobe. Sterling, palladium, 18k gold and covellite. Stones measure approximately 17 x 10mm. Each stud is different.
